System Project Leader
We are recruiting on behalf of a global automotive company recognized for its cutting-edge eMobility technologies. The organization designs and delivers advanced solutions in power electronics, electric motors, and driveline systems for leading OEMs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide full technical leadership for assigned projects or product families within the eMobility domain.

Guide global, cross-functional engineering teams across hardware, software, mechanical and systems engineering.

Act as the primary technical interface for customers, ensuring accurate definition of requirements and product scope.

Lead system-level analyses and make informed trade-offs across power electronics, electric motors, and driveline systems.

Build and manage detailed engineering schedules, ensuring alignment with Program Management and on-time delivery of milestones.

Review and negotiate customer change requests from a technical perspective.

Drive early identification of risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with ASPICE, functional safety, and cybersecurity standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Support product reliability activities and quality assurance initiatives, including safety and functional analyses.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, ideally with specialization in electric drive systems, power electronics, or electric motors.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.

At least 3 years of experience in project or technical project management in automotive.

Proven expertise (3+ years) in power electronics, electric motors, driveline systems, hardware and software development.

Strong engineering background with hands-on work on complex mechatronic systems.

Deep understanding of electrified vehicle systems, hybrid/EV operating modes, packaging constraints, and system-level trade-offs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (RCA, 8D).

Practical experience with ASPICE, functional safety, and cybersecurity standards.

Knowledge of ISO 26262, DFMEA, FMEA, FMEDA, and FTA.

Proven leadership and coaching skills within global, multicultural teams.

Excellent English communication skills (C1)

Strong interpersonal abilities and confidence in navigating cross-functional environments.

Willingness to travel occasionally (under 20%) and work flexibly.
