Junior BI Developer
For our client, a leading provider of professional services and consulting solutions we're looking for a motivated candidate for a Junior BI Developer who wants to accelerate their professional career.
RESPONISIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Power BI datasets.
- Implement DAX calculations and data modelling techniques for efficient data visualization.
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven insights.
- Optimize Power BI performance and troubleshoot any report-related issues.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing best practices in data governance and validation.
- Work with SQL databases to retrieve and manipulate data as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
- Ability to automate repetitive tasks using Power Automate
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and M Language.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data transformation.
- Experience in data visualization, dashboards, and reporting.
- Good understanding of data modelling, relationships, and performance optimization.
- Exposure to finance domain concepts (e.g., P&L, balance sheets, cash flow reports) is a plus.
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex data sources.
- Exposure to other BI tools like Tableau or Google Looker
- Prior project experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to join immediately is a strong asset.
