AR Accountant (Cash Application) with English

Responsibilities:

  • Post customer payments received through bank transfers, lockbox files, and other payment methods
  • Match payments to invoices and customer accounts
  • Investigate and clear unapplied or unclear payments
  • Reconcile received cash on a daily and monthly basis
  • Process customer refunds when overpayments occur
  • Communicate with internal teams to clarify payment details
  • Support month-end closing activities
  • Handle requests and issues submitted through ServiceNow
  • Take part in process transitions and knowledge transfers
  • Assist with audits and provide required information
  • Support the team with ad hoc tasks and improvement initiatives

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Finance, preferably in Accounts Receivable or Cash Application
  • Advanced English proficiency 
  • Strong command of MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model as a full-time employee in a Kraków city-center office
  • Experience with Oracle finance systems is an advantage
