Test Automation Engineer Lead (Cybersecurity)

 

We are looking for a Test Engineer Lead to join a global Cyber Security team responsible for application and infrastructure security testing across pre-production and production environments. The team develops and integrates security scanning, vulnerability management, and reporting solutions within a Kubernetes and cloud-based ecosystem.

• Type of contract: B2B (hourly rate, no paid days off)
• Hybrid model: 6 days per month from the office (Cracow/ Warsaw)

 

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for security platforms and services.
• Design, automate, and integrate testing frameworks within CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across deployments.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Mentor team members and establish testing standards and best practices.
• Report QA metrics and progress to senior stakeholders.

 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and/or test automation, including leadership experience.
• Proven experience building and executing test strategies.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and secure SDLC principles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Ability to define and analyze QA metrics.
• Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance frameworks is a strong advantage.
