Senior Java Developer

For our Client we are looking for an experienced Java Developer to build, and maintain scalable backend services and cloud-native applications. The role focuses on leveraging Java, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms to deliver robust, secure, and efficient solutions.

📍 Location: Kraków, hybrid work model – 2 days per week in the office, 3 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks)
• Design and deploy microservices on Kubernetes clusters
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise application performance
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in backend development (Java)
• Strong Java programming skills and experience with microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerisation (Docker)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Fluent English
