We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Global Markets Technology team, reporting directly to a Development Manager. This role covers the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and production support. We operate in true end-to-end teams – there are no separate support teams.
About the Project
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of application development. You will work in small, agile teams of 4–6 engineers with a dedicated Product Owner. While most teams are co-located, collaboration with geographically distributed teams is part of the role.
Your Responsibilities

Work within a team of 4–6 engineers with a dedicated Product Owner

Take business requirements, break them down into user stories, and deliver them iteratively into production

Provide ongoing production support – “you build it, you support it”

Identify areas of technical debt and ensure a healthy balance between new functionality and technical improvements

Design solutions for new features in line with technology standards and constraints

Pair program and collaborate closely with other team members

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Skills & Experience We Require

5+ years of strong experience with Python

Solid hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, Flask and/or Django

Good understanding of Agile development methodologies with a delivery-driven mindset

Ability to work effectively with both local and global teams

Leadership skills and experience supporting junior team members

Flexible approach to ownership and delivery responsibility

Open-minded, proactive, and eager to learn and grow

Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Nice to Have

Experience in Machine Learning, NLP, or AI

Experience building FX or Rates pricing systems

Experience with KDB or cloud-based solutions

Knowledge of JavaScript and/or Vue.js
