Tri-City entered 2019 as a recognized and popular BSS market. Total employment numbers in the industry have grown from 6 to 26 thousand over the last 7 years and over 80 new projects have been initiated in the city.
Services, industry and construction are the pillars of Pomeranian economy, and the two rapidly growing ports in Gdynia and Gdańsk play a crucial role in international commerce. Tri-City has one of the highest concentrations of economic activity. The metropolitan area has a population of 1.3 million (according to European Metromonitor), or 1.51 million if you include Gdynia.
Tri-City, along with the entire Pomerania region, ranks among Poland’s top-five destinations for foreign investment. There are almost 3.8 thousand foreign-owned companies in the region, and Pomerania receives 13% of all FDI that flows into Poland.
